Ease Acces to Education

Many children in Uganda still struggle to access education due to poverty, abuse, and lack of resources.

At Growing Dreams, we support vulnerable children by providing school sponsorship,

learning materials, and opportunities to return to education

The Challenge

Many vulnerable children in Uganda still struggle to access education due to poverty, abuse, and life on the streets. These challenges prevent them from enrolling, attending, or completing school.

About 1 in 4 children in Uganda are out of school, and very few transition to secondary education. In regions like Acholi and Karamoja, access remains especially limited compared to urban areas like Kampala

Children in Northern and North-Eastern Uganda, including districts in Karamoja and Acholi, face the greatest barriers due to long distances to schools, lack of resources, and economic hardship.

At Growing Dreams, we sponsor children in schools, providing uniforms, books, and essential learning materials. We also support out-of-school children to return to learning

We aim to ensure every child, regardless of their background, has equal access to education and the opportunity to build a brighter future.
