History
Our journey started in 2005, with a vision to give every child hope and a brighter future.
Growing Dreams is a non-governmental organization dedicated to supporting vulnerable children and improving their wellbeing within communities. Founded in 2005, the organization was established in response to the growing number of street children, child abuse cases, and limited access to education faced by many young people in Uganda
Our work focuses on providing safe shelter, basic education, guidance, and emotional support to children who have been abandoned, neglected, or forced to live on the streets. We strive to restore hope in their lives by creating a nurturing environment where they can grow, learn, and build a better future.
Through our experience over the years, we have embraced a holistic approach to addressing the challenges affecting vulnerable children. Our programs include education support, life-skills development, counseling, child protection awareness, and community outreach, all aimed at empowering children and helping them reintegrate into society with confidence and dignity.
